File Clerk (Part-Time)

Position: File Clerk (Part-Time)

Compensation: $13.00 per hour

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Responsibilites include filing, light data entry, copying/faxing/emailing and recording of documents
  • Travel to other county agencies to deliver documents
  • Work involves both cooperative team and individual assignments and responsibilities
  • Ability to create, organize, and retrieve digital program data, files, and reports
  • Basic Microsoft Office suite software competence (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn software applications as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, car and proof of insurance are required

Health Educator

Position: Health Educator
Health Employment Status: Full-Time
Normal Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm; some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on agency need
Hourly Rate Range: $18.7500 - $23.0769 (FTE $39,000-$48,000)

Position Introduction: As a member of the Population Health Team, the Health Educator reports to the Director of Population Health. The goal of Population Health is to promote health for all through the promotion of healthy behaviors and circumstances, the reduction of personal and environmental threats to health, community-based health planning and education, and emergency response planning. A Health Educator provides education and training as a strategy to achieve improved population health status. This position may be dependent upon funding through grants.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in health education or closely related field. Six months experience in assisting in and/or developing health education programs. Must have a valid State of Ohio driver’s license and remain insurable in accordance with the district’s insurance policy.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Safe Communities Grant activities.

Essential Functions of the Position: Promote and support Geauga Public Health by providing a variety of program planning, administrative and technical support services to internal and external customers. Engage in planning, developing, coordinating and implementing all activities associated with the grant(s) that funds the position. Assure all grant deliverables are met on time. Coordinate and/or ensure that supplies, equipment, files and client records are maintained in properly secured storage. Implement or coordinate trainings internally to advance the workforce development plan. Participate as needed in an emergency response role and may be expected to respond to threats to the public’s health in accordance with Geauga Public Health’s Emergency Response Plan. Provide assistance as requested in the implementation and monitoring of the CHA and CHIP. Actively participate in the Population Health activities related to QI and Performance Management
